Building a Roof, Growing Community: Supporting the Kanata Food Bank Garden in Dunrobin

On Thursday Aug 14 NGMS member, Doug Kerwin assisted his brother Darwyn and Danny Lee in building a roof structure over a water tank for the Kanata Food Bank vegetable garden.  The garden is located in Dunrobin and provides fresh vegetables for the food bank. By building this structure rain water can be gathered and the tank is protected from the elements.
